Marcia Goodwin states: “I am my art”, four words-one statement is the simple answer she uses to describe herself and her art. Goodwin strives to connect her diverse interests in order to create her personal language or lexicon, a visual language. As a maker, her goal is to create art that can be seen on many levels, the physical, emotional and spiritual. “Art that is alive!”, she says. Goodwin received her Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth.
