Sandra Santos grow up in New Bedford, Ma, where she now

lives. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the

University of the District of Columbia in Washington, DC and a

Master's in Art Education from the University of Massachusetts,

Dartmouth. Sandra worked for Lehigh Design, IOT and taught

Visual Design at New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High

School for nineteen years, she also taught an after school

program at Lincoln school, a summer program provided by the

New Bedford Art Museum and also gave free art classes in

Stoughton, MA. She was the community artist in residents at the

New Bedford Art Museum in 2021. Now she works in her studio

painting, weaving and creating fabric painting.
