David is a multimedia artist and educator whose work ranges from painting, drawing, sculpture and woodworking. Trained as a painter, his background in the skilled trades, antiques and art history has had a strong impact on his artwork and material sensibilities. Humor and a sense of play within the visual language are important to David's work. David received at BFA in Painting/Drawing from Temple University's Tyler School of Art in 2013 with a minor in Art History, and later an M.A. (2018) and M.F.A. (2019) from the University of Iowa in Painting with a secondary emphasis in Sculpture.
